Come and join our specialist Entertainment practice during our exciting time of growth and expansion. Can you bring commercial insurance experience using binders for public liability, event cancellation and equipment to a key, client-facing role?
The role will be responsible for the complex client management as well as drive new business to further embed Affinity within the dynamic Entertainment industry in Australia. You will be responsible for handling and building key relationships with clients, both external and internal, and will build on client retention and revenue generation across the Entertainment portfolio. This role will report directly to our Senior Client Manager and Client Director of our Aon Entertainment team.

What the day will look like
+ Leveraging your general insurance broking expertise to drive client retention & portfolio growth through direct and existing channel partnerships in line with the growth & retention strategy.
+ Responsible for portfolio of clients driving strong customer service experience to achieve retention & growth aspirations in line with clear KPI’s
+ Help to mentor the team on products and binder management
+ Advocate for customers using strong technical general insurance broking knowledge & insurer negotiations to achieve the best outcome for customers
+ Partner with internal & external stakeholders to build value that exceeds customer expectations
+ Cultivate and develop relationships with key industry partners and key clients leading to new opportunities & strengthen existing relationships
+ Acting as technical referral point for colleagues to collaborate & share your product expertise where required
+ Act as a binder signatory
+ Participate in self-training and mentoring sessions to keep knowledge up to date
+ Deliver the annual strategy passionate about client value creation
+ Actively participate in and support Business Development activity and be available for joint client/prospect meetings as/where required

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ 3-5 years proven technical broking experience handling a portfolio of clients
+ RG146 Tier 1 qualification (required) and/or Diploma of Broking (advantageous)
+ Commercial understanding of business and the Insurance market including ability to deliver and report on financials
+ Experience in property, public liability, cancellation, equipment, and other general insurances relevant to the Entertainment sector
+ Independent operator, high emotional intelligence with strong negotiation and communication skills
+ A self-starter who is adaptable, focused and self-disciplined, with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
+ Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving capability
