Job Title: SENIOR CLIENT DIRECTOR – Expat Medical
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Client Director, you will be responsible for a portfolio of large clients.
You create an excellent long-term client relationship by using your technical knowledge, commercial skills and proactive, creative and service-oriented approach, to make your clients see you as the expert and preferred point of contact for developing and maintaining their International Mobility Benefits strategy.
In addition to managing your portfolio you will drive new business acquisition and be responsible for tender completion for selected accounts and will cooperate closely with the local A&H teams to win these new business opportunities.

Commercial
You build a unique relationship of trust with your clients:
You know everything about your client, their needs and expectations, and how their contract responds to those.You consistently follow up and improve the performance of the contract by using a disciplined stewardship approach.You listen, ask questions and detect opportunities for your clients.You develop creative, innovative, quality solutions for your clients.You implement and manage an effective complaints procedure.You are in regular contact with your clients, either by phone/online or in person.You work with our TPA and Assistance partners:
You make sure that KPIs and SLAs are diligently being delivered by our partners.You protect the interests of our clients and customers by following up on complaints and resulting corrective actions.You help our local A&H teams with winning large new business opportunities, by providing your expertise and market knowledge and by assisting with tender completions and finalist presentations.
Analytical
You create financial and content analyses for your portfolio of contracts:
You monitor key indicators and can detect trends and evolutions in a contract’s performance.You formulate clear conclusions and tangible actions and solutions in order to optimize financial performance.
Management
You have the responsibility for ensuring that allocated contracts and specific projects are managed in an optimal way:
You independently develop the correct account management for each allocated client.You assess the operational/financial impact of decisions and/or proposals.You systematically identify problems and opportunities for improvement in contract performance and operational procedures, internally and externally, and suggest improvements for increasing quality and profitability.You work with our local A&H teams to ensure that the local operational processes in relation to premiums and claims bookings are executed flawlessly.You ensure that your clients achieve the profitability AIG is aiming for. You interface with Legal, Risk and Compliance to deliver and roll-out a robust client management governance process.
Knowledge
You keep your professional knowledge up to speed to respond to evolutions and expectations of our clients and partners.
You know the possibilities and limitations of our products and services, both internal as well as external service proposition, on the International Mobility Benefits market.You are aware of trends and evolutions in international social security systems and health insurance regulations.You follow general international political and socio-economic current affairs.PROFILE & SKILLS
Broad insurance industry experience, including exposure to a variety of European markets.At least 5 years of experience with successfully managing large/complex/strategic clients.Active and excellent knowledge of English and at least one other language. Extra language skills may be beneficial in function of assigned contracts.Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to see the bigger picture, always with an eye on our profitability targets.Ability to influence internally in alignment with external relationships.Negotiation: ability to come to mutually satisfactory agreements with various stakeholders.Strategic and result oriented, managing vision and purpose, developing organizational capability.Sociable: correct, professional and at ease in contacts with internal and external stakeholders.Communication: ability to communicate a point of view in a clear, easy and if necessary diplomatic way.Communication: comfortable in giving presentations to various stakeholders.Resilience: ability to work under high pressure whilst maintaining a high level of quality.Organisational skills: ability to plan and execute work autonomously and effectively.Pro-active and problem-solving: anticipates expectations in a creative way and looks for possibilities for improvement.#LI-AIG
