The main liaison between Accounts Payable, Vendors & departments of the Medical Center the offsites of the Medical Center. Provides customer service in an electronic data processing environment by investigating, researching and resolving problem invoices for the Medical Center and the offsite locations. Records data on the system making sure the distributions and data are posted on a timely basis for accurate financial statements. Based on independent judgment, prioritizes assignments and organizes functions to ensure timely resolution of invoice problems and processing of invoices. Educates and advises administrators, purchasing staff, receiving staff, warehouse staff and vendors on the accurate procedures and actions required to resolve invoice and purchase order issues. Leads and train lower level clerical staff and performs other related duties. Determines appropriate actions required to resolve or prevent interruption of the flow of goods and services to the Medical Center. Reconciles vendor statements and the GR/IR report to validate all charges made to the medical center and to offset any discrepancies. EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE: High School Diploma/GED required. One year's experience.
