Join our team as a Senior Claims Consultant, where you'll use your extensive experience to expertly manage Disability Income and Total Permanent Disability claims.
Utilise your empathy, communication, and time management skills to implement effective vocational rehabilitation strategies, ensuring optimal outcomes for our clients.
Working with a diverse range of product across all channels in our growing business, you'll have the opportunity to mentor and train fellow consultants, and engage in continuous improvement processes.
In this key role you’ll
Lead the charge in making informed Disability Income and TPD claim decisions, ensuring fairness and clarity in every explanation. Take control of ongoing disability claims, expertly managing risk exposure for Chubb Life NZ. Collaborate in dynamic forums like the Claims Round Table to drive exceptional customer outcomes. Engage proactively with customers and advisers through regular calls, ensuring seamless communication and thorough documentation. Design and execute impactful rehabilitation and return-to-work strategies, partnering with key stakeholders to achieve recovery milestones. Tackle complex return-to-work claims, offering expert support and guidance to Case Managers.
To be successful and grow in this role, you will ideally bring
A strong background in Insurance and Financial services; Life Insurance advantageous. Proficiency in Active Case Management/Rehabilitation and best practices. Expertise in Income Protection/Rehabilitation with over 5 years of experience as a Claims Consultant. Experience in liaising with third-party providers and skilled in case conferencing. Strong influence and negotiation skills for engaging with stakeholders. Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities.We don’t expect you to have every skill listed.
