The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and adaptable person to join the Trade Credit & Surety business unit. The role of a Senior Claims Assessor will see you taking responsibility for the prompt and fair assessment of claims.
You will be reporting directly into the Service Manager - Trade Credit and working within a supportive and dedicated team.
Your new role
Process claims in a timely and compliant manner
Conduct all written and verbal communications with clients
Maintain a customer service focus when managing a difficult situation
Support the implementation of the Claims strategy
Maintain all files, systems and databases to ensure that they accurately represent the Claim Management process
Share information with the team on competitor customer activity and market issues
Provide team support/training to the team and contribute to a professional and cohesive approach to meeting QBE and customer expectations
About you
We are looking for a driven and motivated individual who is commercially minded and solution focused.
Insolvency background or Claims experience ideally business claims
Experience dealing with brokers is highly regarded
Strong experience in a customer-focused role
Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate with clients
Team player with collaborative mindset and a high level of resilience
Take accountability and ownership of tasks acting with integrity despite pressures and challenges
