WSP are currently looking for Senior Civil Engineers to work on the construction of a major roads & highways project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in similar roads & highways construction projects. "" Project Management and Coordination: - Lead multidisciplinary project teams in the planning, design, and execution phases of infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. - Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory authorities, and consultants, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Site Supervision and Quality Assurance: - Provide technical oversight and guidance during construction activities, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with engineering specifications and standards. - Implement rigorous quality assurance and control measures to uphold the highest standards of construction excellence, identifying and addressing any deviations or discrepancies promptly. Design Review and Technical Support: - Review engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation prepared by internal and external teams, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project requirements. - Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, resolving complex engineering issues and optimizing design solutions to enhance project performance and efficiency. Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on construction management. - Professional engineering license or equivalent certification preferred. - Extensive knowledge and experience in the design, construction, and management of transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, highways, tunnels, railways, metros, and related infrastructure. - Strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles, practices, and design standards, with proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies. - Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, manage project budgets and schedules, and deliver successful outcomes. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, stakeholders, and team members from diverse backgrounds and cultures. - Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, with a focus on quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. - Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
