Hogarth is looking for a Senior CGI Artist
What does a Senior CGI Artist do at Hogarth?
The CGI Senior Artist will be essential in creating exceptional photorealistic visual content for our clients, leveraging the latest 3D software and techniques. They will excel in lighting products (both still and moving), consistently achieving high-fidelity results. As a champion of high-end CGI product visualization, they will master studio lighting using HDRI techniques as well as full HDRI environment lighting. They will be capable of compositing render passes into a final asset and adding the final flourishes. Building strong relationships with art directors is crucial, alongside developing advanced CGI lighting skills with top tier render engines. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn new industry-standard 3D software and possess expert proficiency in 3DS Max, Houdini, V-Ray, Photoshop, and Nuke.
Duties:
Use industry standard 3d software (Houdini/Max/Maya/v-ray) to light and render master-models for our automotive clients to and outstanding quality. Understand the nuances of automotive lighting and have an appreciation of how a car should look and feel in all types of different scenarios from Studio to multiple environments and beyond, static and in full motion Collaborate with our in-house pipeline team to organize, USD files, lit and rendered files and outputs including complex 3D scenes and USD files for client content. Proficiency in Photoshop, Nuke and DaVinci Resolve, for high-quality look development and pre-comps for both still imagery and motion shots. Work closely with creative and art directors, as well as directors from various in-house and external agencies. Understand and follow all production workflows and procedures, ensuring assets meet specifications through quality checksRequirements:
Bring CGI visuals to life with industry-leading 3D software like Houdini, 3ds Max, Maya, and V-Ray to create stunning, photorealistic renders that exceed client expectations. Work together with our in-house pipeline team to seamlessly manage and deliver polished 3D assets that drive product storytelling to the next level. With expert skills in Nuke, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop, you’ll elevate look development, create impactful pre-comps, and contribute to final compositions with a sharp eye for detail and deep CGI lighting expertise, while continuously improve our production pipeline and ensuring top-tier, efficient results for every project.
