About Oliver Wyman (OW) is seeking a senior Certinia Solutions Specialist to own the functional and technical design of Certinia PSA solutions, with a clear focus on Finance and Operations. You will partner with business, finance, and technology teams, and work with developers and QA to ensure high-quality, scalable implementations that maximize value from Certinia PSA on Salesforce.
Role purpose Own end-to-end PSA solution design and delivery for Finance & Operations initiatives within OW. Act as the technical and functional lead to define the target state, guide implementation with cross-functional teams, and ensure robust governance, ongoing optimization, and seamless operations.
Key responsibilities
Lead PSA solution design and architecture for Certinia PSA modules (Project & Resource Management, Time/Expense, Billing, Revenue Recognition/WIP) and tie to Finance/Operations outcomes. Define target state, roadmaps, and success criteria.
Own functional ownership of initiatives: gather requirements, create BRDs/functional specifications, translate business needs into technical design, and define acceptance criteria for handoffs to development and QA.
Define and govern integration and data strategy for PSA: API and ETL design, data mapping, data quality, migration planning, and ongoing data integrity across the OW technology landscape.
Act as Certinia PSA subject-matter expert for Finance and Operations. Expertise in Apex, LWC, flows, data loader. To be able to perform effective scoping and if needed code reviews.
Provide advanced configuration guidance and hands-on functional support; advise on licensing, feature trade-offs, and optimization of PSA capabilities to maximize business value.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation: functional specs, configuration guides, runbooks, support processes, governance artifacts, and training materials.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives; lead root-cause analysis and implement robust fixes.
Lead stakeholder engagement: facilitate workshops, manage expectations, produce status reporting, and govern change across business units, finance, and IT.
Mentor Admins/Analysts; contribute to a Certinia Center of Excellence; collaborate with external partners/vendors as needed.
Ensure security, control, and compliance: access reviews, data protections, and auditability within Certinia PSA environments.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
8 years of experience in Salesforce administration and hands-on work with Certinia (PSA and/or ERP) deployments, including configuration and implementation.
Certified Certinia PSA Consultant (required). Additional Certinia ERP, Salesforce or related certifications are a strong plus.
Deep knowledge of PSA processes and related financial outcomes: Project & Resource Management, Time/Expense, Billing; with familiarity of how these feed into Revenue, WIP, and reporting.
Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders and deliver technical solutions in an Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environment.
Experience with project-management/delivery tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps).
Excellent written and spoken English; able to present complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred qualifications
Strong domain expertise across Certinia PSA modules and related Finance/Operations capabilities; familiarity with multi-currency scenarios and project economics.
Experience with Talent Management or Data Analytics within Certinia is a plus.
Exceptional analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills; highly organized and detail-oriented.
Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into actionable technical designs and to communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
Experience coaching/mentoring admins or analysts and engaging effectively with external partners/vendors.
