Senior Category Manager - Facilities

We are seeking a Senior Category Manager – Facilities to lead the procurement strategy and execution across our global Facilities category, managing an annual spend of approximately USD 150 million in OpEx and USD 100 million in CapEx. Based in Malaysia, this role is pivotal in shaping strategies, influencing stakeholders, and delivering commercial and operational outcomes across a dynamic global portfolio. 

 

What You’ll Do 

Develop and execute global, regional, and local category strategies aligned with business and stakeholder goals. 

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, particularly across our Singapore and Malaysia operations. 

Drive supplier selection, engagement, and contract negotiations with global partners. 

Lead governance and performance management frameworks to ensure supplier accountability and continuous improvement. 

Deliver financial and operational targets, including cost savings, value creation, and innovation. 

Contribute to sustainability, risk mitigation, and transformation initiatives within Facilities. 

Collaborate closely with internal teams across the business and with external Suppliers both locally and internationally.

 

What You’ll Bring 

5–10 years of procurement leadership experience, with deep expertise in Facilities category management. 

Strong strategic sourcing and category planning skills, ideally with global or regional implementation exposure. 

Proven senior stakeholder influencing ability and strong commercial acumen. 

Track record of negotiating complex contracts and managing high-impact supplier relationships. 

Excellent communication, negotiation, change leadership, and presentation skills. 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). 

 

Preferred 

CIPS, ISM, or similar professional certifications. 

Experience managing distributed global teams or portfolios.
