Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Cash Accounting Analyst to perform accounting tasks in a shared services environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate transactions, providing assurance that our accounting practices adhere to financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures, and performing general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Prepare, review, Bank and Cash reconciliations and post journal entriesWorks daily with AP to resolve cash transactionsPrepare and review account reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurately statedOnboarding accounting functions from various Business Units to Financial Shared ServicesSupport internal and external audit requestsWork in a team environment while supporting business units throughout the organizationMaintain existing internal controls while looking for continuous improvement opportunitiesDevelop, analyze, and present reports to managementManage ongoing projects and ad-hoc requests as assignedIndirectly supervise the work efforts of lower level or junior staff members
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/FinanceCPA preferred3-5 years of experienceHands-on experience in financial accounting & reporting, preferably Cash AccountingMS suite (Excel, PowerPoint and WordSAP ERP experience highly desiredWorking knowledge of Manufacturing, a plusHyperion ESSBASE, a plusAbility to work independently and in teamsStrong accounting knowledge, fact-finding skills, and ability to provide solutionsEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsDemonstrate good judgment, attention to detail and good problem-solving skillsManage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines through good organization and prioritizationAbility to work closely with personnel from various departments and all levels of managementStrong critical reasoning skills, independent judgment, and objectivity

This role is based in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
