The Senior Capital Sales Manager, MONARCH (West) is a pivotal position that will lead a diverse field sales organization. The role will lead a team in driving clinical and sales demand, leading key account relationships, and working collaboratively with a coalition of specialists and other partners across Johnson & Johnson MedTech. Highly effective leadership is crucial to our success in achieving our vision. The role is essential to helping our sales force deploy and continually develop capabilities in customer engagement, business insight collection, and integration of digital technologies. This person must collaborate to grow robotic-assisted lung screening programs -- all of which help to position us as a trusted and valued partner to our customers. Strong candidates must embody the trust and respect that serves as the foundation for our culture of engagement and belonging.
The Senior Capital Sales Manager, MONARCH (West) will be a highly driven, entrepreneurial, experienced capital sales leader to implement our capital sales strategy for Monarch in the US. The Capital Territory Managers will report into this leader, and the expectation is that the function will continue to grow as demand continues to increase.
This role reports directly to the Head of U.S. Capital Sales and has high visibility across JNJ as we orchestrate Johnson and Johnson’s progression into the development and commercialization of surgical robotics and combine with our Innovative Medicines team to improve outcomes in lung cancer. **Responsibilities:**
+ Delivery of Business Results, including both sales and profitability targets; accountable to meeting capital sales quotas
+ Establishing and driving a comprehensive area business plan for the Area Capital Sales teams with targeted execution
+ Build and manage a capital pipeline and accurately forecast quarterly/annual business opportunities.
+ Identifying and coordinating resources, supervising operating expenses/business metrics, and maintaining key relationships
+ Capable of working with ambiguity and establishing new processes and ways of working
+ Solving problems; tenacity to learn, analyze, and resolve complex situations
+ Elevating the sales team to be outcomes-focused, where diversity and inclusion are valued, and where the team's skills, knowledge, and abilities continually evolve to meet current and future needs.
+ Consistently aspiring to achieve performance excellence in a compliant and ethical manner.

**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ B.A./B.S. in business, marketing, Finance, or a related field
+ 8-10 years of sales and/or sales leadership experience, preferably in a medical device company
+ 2-3 years of successful capital sales leadership in healthcare
+ Significant travel (approximately 40%-50%) including customer visits, sales and medical meetings and training.
This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program.

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$132,000 - $211,600 (Bay Area adjusted: $151,000 - $243,340)

The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
