You will also, support the Business Unit Quality Manager with calibration elements of internal and external audits when required **Location:** Christchurch, UK **We Take Care of Our People** Work-life balance through our Hybrid working, flexitime program and condensed work week (role dependent) I Paid Time Off I Retirement with Employer Match I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Competitive Pay I Bonus Scheme I Recognition I Employee Stock Purchase Plan (https://curtisswright.com/investor-relations/overview/default.aspx) I Inclusive & Supportive Culture (https://careers.curtisswright.com/en/who-we-are/) * **Your Challenge** + Ensure that all mechanical and electrical test equipment, and tooling, is appropriately calibrated in accordance with the Business Unit calibration schedule and company calibration procedure. + Coordinate the calibration and repair of equipment and tooling by external calibration or repair houses. + Signing off internal calibration certificates and reports. + Ensure that all equipment and tooling is easily identifiable and suitably labelled. + Manage and maintain the Business Unit calibration system database. + Control the quarantine of any defective or unsuitable equipment or tooling. + Identify and eliminate any calibration non-compliances. + Control and archive all calibration reports, calibration certificates, and equipment / tooling delivery notes. + Compile calibration instruction sheets. + Compile purchase requisitions for new equipment or tooling when required. + Support the compilation of planned maintenance schedules for mechanical tooling and equipment. + Support the Business Unit Quality Manager with calibration elements of internal and external audits when required. + Identify and champion improvements to the calibration system. + Support defining the annual budget for calibration. + Adhere to all Company Health and Safety requirements. + Support the Business Unit quality team with other quality activities when required. **What You Bring** Essential Criteria: + Good understanding of electronics / electrical testing principles. + Good understanding of circuit diagrams. + Basic understanding of measurement principles and techniques. + IT literate - Microsoft Access experience useful.
