Your Key Responsibilities Support E-Mobility Electric Drives and/or Battery Business Units requirements to achieve the correct cost structure, launches on time and technical cost reduction initiatives of applicable projects.  Project management for launching E-Mobility and/or Battery business in Purchasing.   Drive Category Purchasing for results in requests for quote (RFQ), Kickoff, and on-time delivery to meet necessary milestones.   Participate in and/or lead technical reviews for launch and cost-saving initiatives for the assigned/respective projects.  Support North American footprint strategy development and implementation and support North American Sustainability and Carbon Footprint Initiatives by driving suppliers toward implementation/compliance. Define and negotiate prices/contracts, cross-divisionally or -functionally, and align and implement profitable purchasing strategies and effective negotiation tactics in the assigned area.
Regular travel to the Wooster, OH facility required  Your Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree. Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience. Strong negotiation, project management and problem-solving skills. Basic mechanical and electronics comprehension. Excellent personal computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office suites. Blueprint comprehension.

 

Preferred:
