As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Support E-Mobility Electric Drives and/or Battery Business Units requirements to achieve the correct cost structure, launches on time and technical cost reduction initiatives of applicable projects. + Project management for launching E-Mobility and/or Battery business in Purchasing. + Drive Category Purchasing for results in requests for quote (RFQ), Kickoff, and on-time delivery to meet necessary milestones. + Participate in and/or lead technical reviews for launch and cost-saving initiatives for the assigned/respective projects. + Support North American footprint strategy development and implementation and support North American Sustainability and Carbon Footprint Initiatives by driving suppliers toward implementation/compliance. + Define and negotiate prices/contracts, cross-divisionally or -functionally, and align and implement profitable purchasing strategies and effective negotiation tactics in the assigned area. + Regular travel to the Wooster, OH facility required **Your Qualifications** Required: + Bachelor's degree. + Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience. + Strong negotiation, project management and problem-solving skills. + Basic mechanical and electronics comprehension. + Excellent personal computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office suites. + Blueprint comprehension.
