Pay Range:

$73,100.00 - $120,200.00

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manages the purchase and production plan to ensure inventory supply through the analysis of consumption, reorder points and order quantitiesMaintain a forecast and safety stock levels. Incorporate historical sales and forward-looking forecasts from commercial teamsSubmits purchase orders for direct and indirect materialsCompile and analyze data to perform price analysis, make source selections, and procurement justificationsMaintain a forecast and safety stock levels using historical sales dataManage open orders, including past due production and purchase ordersInteract with OEM vendors to manage production and fulfillment schedulesCommunicate expectations with relevant vendors, quality and customer care teamsMonitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI), including daily review of customer backordersIdentify expired Items, salvage useable components, and re-work when possibleMaintain ERP data fields used to support purchasing and production planningTroubleshoot ERP errors for teamAssist in launch of new productsAbility to troubleshoot and solve issues of moderate complexity independentlyLead projects and new initiatives for the departmentRedesign workflows to optimize for time, cost, or resource savings.Train teams on effective planning and purchasing techniquesUtilize problem solving and continuous improvement techniques to eliminate wasteLead continuous improvement initiativesFollow company policies, practices and safety guidelines as outlined.Demonstrates EPIC values and is recognized by others for thisDemonstrated ability to complete all duties of the Advanced Buyer/Planner rolePerform additional duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent (AA degree plus APICS certification with a minimum of 5 to 8 4+ years of related experience)5+ years of relevant experienceERP Expertise, Microsoft DynamicsWorking knowledge of Microsoft office with advanced excel skills Familiarity with ISO and cGMP requirements Lean manufacturing experience Strong analytical and problem solving skillsFamiliarity with ISO and cGMP requirements Lean manufacturing experience Strong analytical and problem solving skills
