TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Senior Buyer role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
  Create and execute procurement strategies to meet project and regional objectives. Negotiate complex equipment and bulk material contracts to secure the best value for projects. Implement and monitor procurement processes using approved corporate tools to ensure efficiency. Handle material purchasing, expediting, and field procurement in compliance with corporate policies and project guidelines. Identify and resolve procurement-related issues, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Provide leadership and support to procurement, expediting, and support teams. Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with project requirements. Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks, prioritizing and meeting deadlines. Oversee procurement operations, including purchasing, expediting, and field procurement for various projects. Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
  Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 10-12 years of proven experience in procurement management for large-scale projects. Experience in the mining industry required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Engineering degree is a plus. Excellent negotiation and analytical skills. Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
