Senior Business Systems Analyst for Partner Relationship Management (PRM) System

Trimble is seeking a highly motivated & experienced individual to lead the implementation & management of a new Partner Relationship Management (PRM) tool. This role will be pivotal in defining internal requirements, collaborating with various departments, managing vendor relationships, and driving the design of the PRM portal.

The PRM System Owner is responsible for leading & managing the Proof of Concept project implementation. There are currently multiple existing systems, along with spreadsheets; the first responsibility for this position will be to identify the key stakeholders, gather and refine requirements, and use those requirements to guide system / vendor selection.  The role will focus on leading the development project for the new PRM system.  Core to this position is defining how AI will be integrated into the PRM to automate data analysis, provide predictive insights, and enhance dealer relationship management, thereby optimizing channel management and driving strategic growth for Trimble Field Systems.

PRM will become foundational to the execution of the Field System growth strategies and therefore must reflect the requirements of today but be adaptable to the needs of the business in the future.  Given the interactions with other business systems, this individual will need to be highly collaborative and actively work with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Capture requirements from the various stakeholders across the Field Systems segment and the distribution network through interviews and other methods

Define and document comprehensive user stories based on the stakeholder interviews and create the Market Requirements Document (MRD) for the new system

Partner with development teams to ensure that the MRD is successfully used to define development and acceptance criteria

Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems

Participate in user testing and validation activities and ensure the feedback appropriately influences development

Create vendor evaluation criteria and work with appropriate stakeholders to lead system / vendor selection

Partner with Project Management Office to lead implementation project to operationalize the new PRM system

Ensure internal and external users have access to training and support to enable desired adoption

Provide ongoing management and continuous improvements to the PRM system within budget

Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Act as a liaison to other system owners within Field System to ensure that data structures and transfers are as efficient and effective as possible

 

Skills

Ability to synthesize complex data into practical and useable information

Proven experience in managing and implementing PRM or CRM tools.

Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in data analysis and performance monitoring

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and meticulous attend to detail

Ability to engage in technical problem solving discussions to represent the business needs 

Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Sense of urgency and drive to accomplish goals and organizational change

Education

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology

Led successful implementation of a business system, PRM or CRM tools

Proven experience managing and improving PRM or CRM tools

Experience with vendor management and RFP processes

Preferred Qualification

Understanding of channel management in the context of hardware and software products

Understanding of Construction and Geospatial industries

Understanding of Agile development methodologies
