The PositionAs a Senior Business Product Owner in the Global Customer Support Digital Service Solutions team, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering digital products that align with business goals and customer needs. Working in an agile environment, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define product vision, prioritize features, and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle. This role combines strategic thinking, user empathy, and hands-on execution to create impactful, sustainable solutions.
This role is a (service) business role working in close partnership with our global informatics teams who are accountable and responsible for the technical implementation & operations of our digital service solutions portfolio.
The main focus of this role is to build and deliver a global Implementation Management Solution (Framework & Tool) to assist commercial, consulting and technical service teams in complex laboratory solutions installation projects (from pre-sales discussions, effort estimation to portfolio and resource management). The tool is currently in the definition phase, with that, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to shape the vision and drive the direction of this very strategic project.
Responsibilities:
Understand user needs and drivers to identify product gaps and opportunities for value creation.
Define and maintain product vision, roadmap, and backlog in alignment with business priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to ensure successful delivery of product features.
Communicate with key stakeholders across various seniority levels to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment
Support product rollout and integration across business processes and systems.
Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in shaping data architecture and ensuring effective support workflows with IT and business teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, with additional certifications like SAFe Product Owner or PMP considered a plus.
5+ years proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the digital services, software, or technology industry, ideally with expertise in the healthcare or life science sector.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a strategic Product Roadmap aligned with organizational goals, delivering customer-centric digital products that prioritize usability, scalability, and innovation.
Strong business acumen with a proven ability to translate high-level strategy into actionable execution, particularly within customer service or professional service environments.
Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, acting as the primary point of contact for business and operational stakeholders, and successfully managing expectations and aligning diverse interests.
Skilled in conflict resolution, decision-making under pressure, and facilitating alignment in complex stakeholder environments with competing priorities.
Passion for user-centered design, problem-solving, collaboration, and driving measurable product impact
Fluent in English, with exceptional communication abilities to collaborate effectively across global teams and navigate dynamic, multicultural settings.
