Role Overview
The Senior Business Partner, Operational Services, serves as a key liaison between the Americas business (U.S., Canada, and Brazil) and the Operations teams in Belfast and Manila.
This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of operational services, providing ongoing mentorship to regional teams, and acting as the primary escalation point for BAU issues. The Senior Business Partner also plays a critical role in ensuring alignment and prioritization across new initiatives and regulatory changes, with a strong foundation in onboarding processes—including regulatory classification, client due diligence, and credit—as well as a broader understanding of Operations to provide well-rounded support.
Role Responsibilities
Act as a senior stakeholder in collaboration with Operational Services Management and Regional Operational Leads.
Create and develop an engagement model with the core Operational Support teams, ensuring continued delivery of expected service levels, supplemented by regular meetings, calls, and training to support long-term knowledge development.
Represent Operations in engagements with the Americas business and other departments, including:
Participation in senior stakeholder meetings as appropriate.
Supporting new business initiatives.
Represent Operations in regulatory-related meetings to ensure continued compliance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior business management in the Americas, acting as the primary escalation point for BAU issues and business changes.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
Support business teams as needed with client engagement and support.
Set and manage project milestones with team members and stakeholders, ensuring expectations are communicated clearly and in a timely manner.
Enhance the engagement model with support teams to define clear roles and responsibilities, and ensure consistent service delivery.
Participate in Operations-wide initiatives to drive efficiencies and support broader business objectives.
Identify and help resolve any risks to the firm or business, including closure of risk events and issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience / Competences
Essential
Sound knowledge of the financial markets, financial regulation, and Anti-Money Laundering regulations applicable to TP ICAP in the Americas.
Desired
Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring operational teams.
Broad operations knowledge, particularly in client onboarding and due diligence.
Familiarity with TP ICAP's trading entities and brands.
Deep subject matter expertise in a specific operations function.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders within Operations.
