About You and This Role We have an exciting opportunity for aSenior Business Director for Tax and Treasurylocated inHouston, TX!In this role, you will lead the Tax and Treasury functions of the Diamond Infrastructure company and under the direction of the CFO. You will apply in-depth knowledge to drive financial performance, execute and develop tax and treasury strategies to achieve business objectives, and to ensure compliance and risk management. Even though this role will require leadership for both areas, the largest area of support needed will be in the tax realm. This role will require broad knowledge of the industry and advanced commercial awareness to drive financial performance, as well as established collaborative internal and external relationships with the ability to negotiate with and shape the opinions of other senior leaders. It is your responsibility to apply advanced critical thinking to direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems. You will lead an organization within a sub-function to develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives. Tax Responsibilities + Develop and maintain the company’s tax compliance program including adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations. + Supervise tax filings and interface with external auditors for the tax portion of year-end audits. + Provide the company’s tax provision within the financial statements. + Formulate and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position. + Manage and oversee tax audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries from tax authorities. + Prepare and review tax reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. + Identify and mitigate tax-related risks, including potential exposure to penalties and interest. Treasury Responsibilities + Manage cash forecasting, cash flow monitoring, liquidity, and working capital in coordination with Dow Treasury (including any short-term working capital investments, letters of credit, and related bank relationships). + Develop a treasury program that includes risk analysis, liquidity, and asset management. + Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax filings and audits. + Oversee the organization's investment portfolio, making strategic decisions to optimize returns. + Maintain and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions. Required Qualifications + A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking. + A minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience. + A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process. Preferred Qualifications + CPF/CFA preferred. + Extensive experience in treasury and tax management roles. Your Skills + Proven track record in strategic financial planning, risk management, and compliance. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and leadership abilities. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. + In-depth understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and market trends. + Familiarity with investment strategies and risk mitigation techniques. + Knowledge of audit processes and financial reporting standards.
