Lubrizol is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Senior Business Director for Engineered Polymers in the Americas. In this role, you will lead the regional commercial team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive business growth, profitability, and innovation. You will be responsible for setting financial targets, executing strategic plans, and developing organizational capabilities to ensure long-term success in the region.
What You Will Do:
Establish revenue and profitability objectives by setting clear financial targets and executing global strategies tailored to regional trends. Lead new business development initiatives, focusing on innovation, partnerships, and new product sales to enhance market presence and profitability. Develop and implement regional growth strategies in collaboration with sales, marketing, technical, and manufacturing teams. Foster effective communication with stakeholders and promote a culture of accountability and core values within the team. Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to build a high-performing and motivated team. Optimize regional distribution channels to maximize resource utilization and customer satisfaction. Operate with strong rigor and a management operating system (MOS) to drive forecasting, planning, and commercialization
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or business. Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or business management in the specialty chemical industry. Strong knowledge of engineered materials and key account management experience preferred. Willingness and ability to travel as required. Proven success in implementing commercial excellence strategies including pricing, pipeline, and channel management. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead through influence and manage stakeholders effectively. Demonstrated leadership in complex organizations with broad span of control. Results-driven with strong analytical and business acumen and sound decision-making skills.
