Your mission: PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its Core Project Unit (CPU) department, supporting our internal transformation and internal project delivery initiatives.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving business change, identifying needs, and designing impactful solutions through structured analysis. This is a hands-on position that requires keen attention to detail, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. You will be expected to challenge the status quo and collaborate closely with teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
What sets this role apart is its holistic scope: success depends on your ability to assess and influence across people, processes, and tools (beyond IT systems and technology). You'll be expected to evaluate how change impacts the organization as a whole, from operational workflows and stakeholder alignment to governance and enabling technologies.
Be a part of our team where you will:
Conduct Business Analysis & Needs Assessment
Lead needs analysis and requirements gathering activities across business and operational units;Drive problem discovery workshops and facilitate a variety of workshops with stakeholders to surface key issues and opportunities;Conduct needs assessments to understand root problems and align with strategic business goals;Document workshop outcomes, decisions, and ensure follow-ups are executed.
Be involved in Requirements & Solution Design
Define and document scoping, high-level requirements, and solution designs;Apply BA techniques such as SIPOC, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis, and HLR (High-Level Requirements) amongst others to identify underlying problems, validate business needs, and support effective decision-making;Create business context diagrams, and process maps to reveal areas of improvement.
Process Optimization & To-Be Design
Conduct As-Is Assessments to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities to serve as the basis for the To-Be Design;Collaborate with stakeholders to review and optimize business processes across different business units;Design and document optimized workflows, leveraging automation and data insights where applicable.

Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field;Have 5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, consulting, or transformation roles;Have experience in business process modeling (ARIS, Visio,..) and solution design;Show proficiency in frameworks and techniques such as SIPOC, Root Cause Analysis and Business Context Diagram;Show knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx, and AI tools like Microsoft Copilot;Demonstrate excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present insights and recommendations (French is considered an asset);Have strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills; Possess experience working in cross-functional team environments, it is a plus.Last but not least, we are looking for a self-starter who handles ambiguity well, drives topics forward, and proposes practical solutions.
