WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for business analysis activities on medium to large size projects. The role demonstrates advanced knowledge and ability, and can apply the competency in new or complex situations and guides other professionals. The role is responsible for execution of all aspects of requirements delivery- planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation, management, and support - for changes to Business Areas and Technology.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Elicit business, functional and system requirements for Wealth Management Technology projects using Agile/Iterative/Waterfall methodology
Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements responsibilities
Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders
Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise standards
Provide support to development team during development, testing and implementation
Document UAT test cases, test plans and scenarios
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
5+ years of experience as a business analysis, and exposure to Wealth Management domain.
Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative and/or Agile
A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Nice-to-have:
Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Business Analysis. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute –Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA)
Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
Strong SQL experience
Experience in Data Analysis (Power BI, Tableau)
