Senior Business Analyst

Department Description:

The Global Revenue Recognition Operations is tasked with the ownership of all business processes related to the Revenue Management applications and systems that are in support of the Global Revenue Recognition organization, Corporate Finance, and the SSC Revenue Accounting teams. 

Job Description:

The Global Functional Expert for Global Revenue Recognition Systems would support the Global Revenue Recognition Organization with processes, functional knowledge and system expertise concerning design and implementation of the end-to-end processes that impact SSP and Global Revenue Recognition APEX Revenue Management applications across all regions and globally.

This role has global responsibilities and will act as liaison between Finance Business groups and IT, leading cross functional business projects and testing for the Global Revenue Information Database (GRID) and the Fusion Modules.  This role will be a key contributor to automate manual processes, provide production support and lead large-scale project initiatives as part of a team that supports Oracle Finance business units and Oracle IT internal software implementations.  This role will need to track project milestones/deliverables and drive projects to completion by targeted deadlines within Global Revenue Recognition organization and cross-functional teams.  Key functions involve: identifying business requirements, performing critical data analysis and delivering impact assessments, and support GRID Developers and OAL/PD with system implementation projects within GRID and RMCS. 

Provides support to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation.  Performs work independently without direct oversight.  Collaborate with management, team members and business partners.  Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives.  Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner.  Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format, database dashboards. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal teams and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to partner across functions.
