Senior Business Analyst, State Steet Investment Management, Officer

The Data & Process Solutions team within State Steet Investment Management, Investment Management is seeking a highly motivated, innovative process improvement professional to serve as a Data & Process Solutions Senior Business Analyst, Officer. This role will collaborate with partners across the firm to drive progress of our data and process improvement initiatives. The analysts will participate in the development of enhancements to the current platforms and any future versions of our platforms including analysis, requirements documentation, testing and rollout execution.

Job Responsibilities

Complete business analysis for assigned projects (analyzing the processes, creating required documentation and requirements, suggesting process improvements)Lead the requirement gathering for assigned projects and improvement initiativesCommunicate with partners to ensure key parties are aware of status, issues and changesDevelop and execute test scripts in partnership with our quality assurance teamFoster a culture of continuous improvement within the organizationActively stay current on industry trends and technologies that may impact our Process Solutions functionDevelop and maintain a strong network within the firm and industry in order to stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologiesAct as a Subject Matter Expert for other Business Analysts within the team

Additional Requirements

Understanding of Business Process Management, Asset Management Industry and Process ImprovementPrior experience as a business analyst in financial services (5+ years)Ability to understand processes, data, control frameworks and the application of technologyExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong presentation and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s DegreeProject Management or Process Improvement Credentials (e.g. PMP, Design Thinking, Lean)Experience with Agile Development and knowledge of JiraKnowledge of low code applications such as AppianKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence
