Guy Carpenter Reinsurance Operations is transforming the way we work globally and is seeking business-facing candidates for a Senior Business Analyst role. This hybrid position requires three days a week in our London office.

Be at the forefront of change management in our Reinsurance Broking business, helping us deliver new and improved Reinsurance products for our broker clients.
We will count on you to:
Translate business strategies and objectives into clear, concise business requirements.
Identify, verify, and document functional requirements using requirements management methodologies and tools.
Investigate, design, and document current ("as is") and future ("to be") business processes, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements within the development community.
Contribute to evolving best practices and delivering the strategic roadmap for key technology capabilities within MMC.
Provide traceability of business requirements to IT solutions and ensure system testing covers both existing capabilities and future functional requirements.
Identify data elements and create data mappings/dictionaries.
Conduct and facilitate acceptance tests with the user community, including developing UAT test scenarios and scripts.
Develop, deliver, and evaluate training and supplemental materials.
Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for IT solutions against current state parameters (process, application use cases, and non-functional impact).
Collaborate with Business/IT to define and manage the scope for each release.
What you need to have:
Experience working for an insurance or reinsurance broker or underwriter is essential.
Some understanding of treaty and/or facultative (re)insurance is preferred.
Working experience or knowledge of the reinsurance broking market.
Strong, practical IT project experience as a Business Analyst.
Excellent communication, negotiation, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical teams.
Current experience with Agile methodologies.
What makes you stand out:
Familiarity with the MERN tech stack.
Experience with compliance and data regulations (e.g., GDPR, NYDFS).
Agile or Project Management certifications.
Experience documenting requirements in Microsoft Azure (ADO) and Confluence.
