Brokerage Specialist

Responsible for the day-to-day management of leasing and sales transactions for the brokerage team and its corporate client business. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of a transaction ensuring proper engagement by broker/brokerage team and solicitation of market information for client support. May provide utilization of team administrator when workload exceeds time in day or when additional support is needed. This position is located onsite at the client’s office in Houston.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage flow of key documentation (i.e., drafting, distribution, tasks, prospect sheets and management).Interface with outside brokers and field brokers dailyInterface senior client leadership within its CRE department.Update reports to client with high level of accuracy.Prepare RFPs, LOIs and counter-proposals with broker and client input.Complete preliminary letter of intent (LOI) vs. lease review.Prepare matrix to compare deals.Manage sale transaction timelines.Prepare deal closing packet.Follow up post move-in/closing with client.Make recommendations to client/broker/brokerage team as to ways to streamline processes and provide better service to the client.Research multimarket companies to assist with prospecting

EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE / ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred;Real estate experience preferred;Must obtain and hold Texas real estate license;Ability to read and understand commercial real estate documents (i.e., lease, purchase and sale agreement, sublease agreement, SNDA, estoppel, assignment agreement); and5+ years experience in senior-level administrative support or as a broker

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.
