What the day will look like Broking + Broking, advisory and servicing of clienteles jointly or severally with the Financial Lines team + Supporting the manager with pipeline review and the implementation of strategies to ensure the profitability of the business + Manage and develop a portfolio segment of clients as assigned by the HOD/ Team Leader, delivering a consistently high and reliable service standard + Negotiate with clients and underwriters and deliver team goals of growth, profitability & increasing market share, and build successful long term business relationships at all levels with clients, insurers, and stakeholders Account Management & Client Advisory + Support client relationship management with a focus on client governance and advocacy, and all related service undertakings to deliver a consistently high service standards to clients with proactive, strategic risk advisory; + Ensure implementation of broking excellence initiatives including Pricing & Profitability; Client Promise; Delivering Aon United; SPS; Wording/Slip standardization; Standard Contracts; Data Quality; Broking operations process flow; Carrier / market engagements; Commission Grids + Champion all client-related initiatives and ensure the delivery of distinctive client values; including but not limited to: + Design, strategize, place/renew and manage insurance program in accordance with the client’s risk profile + Review insurance program performance, and work with colleagues on claims analysis and offer risk improvement recommendations where possible Growth + Develop and grow ‘New’ sales and achieve the individual target and overall growth target for team + Active search for new clients by developing leads through social platforms, cold calling, following up on direct marketing, attending networking events and converting leads to sales opportunities + Execute Local Market Plans and develop a pipeline of opportunities in the FSPG segment, with full responsibility for converting those prospects to clients + Manage proposals and responses to complex tenders and develop quality presentations as needed, ensuring the team understands the sense of direction in line with the client's / prospect's objectives Skills and experience that will lead to success + 5 years relevant technical corporate sales working experience with some understanding of financial line or liability insurance preferred + Degree in any relevant discipline, but background in Law or within the financial services would be advantageous + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, PowerPoint) + Good communication and presentation skills + Ability to work with others under pressure, project-manage and multi-task How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
