A school district in Thornton CO is looking to add a Senior Bond Buyer to their Procurement team. This person will be responsible for the awarded construction bond. They will be working closely with the Department of Construction and Design building out request for proposals (RFP's), invitation for bids, and help the construction team develop a scope of work as well as prepare all documents. This person will then manage the bidnet applicants, and bring all applicants to the evaluation committee. They will take charge in running the evaluation meetings, as well as any meetings relative to the bid (i.e., interviews and discussions).
Once the bid has been awarded, this person will submit intent to award letters, notify vendors, and complete all necessary paper work prior to handing it off to the contracts department.

This is a long-term, stable full-time opportunity in Thornton CO. The salary range is $71,000-$88,000 annually, and is determined by HR and their equitable pay scale. The district is able to provide a competitive salary, benefits, pension options, paid holidays, and a strong culture.
