+ Managing small, medium, and large-scale BIM Models for Specialist lighting services by agreeing drawing production strategy.
+ Support BIM implementation of lighting design elements within BIM delivery scope to ensure the seamless integration into multidisciplinary design projects.
+ Ensure adherence to ISO19650 BIM Standards and documentation requirements.
+ Contribute to the development of the BEP and suggest methods of drawing and model production to ensure efficient methods of working.
+ Collaborates closely with architects, interior designers, and engineers, creating diverse lighting Revit families tailored to project needs.
+ Ensure editable parameter can be implemented within the Revit families allowing for integrated lighting designs data into building systems whilst coordinating with the task team.
+ Hands on experience using AutoCAD and Revit for Preparing design drawings for Electrical specialist lighting services.
+ Ensuring the Project CDE (Common Data Environment) platform is optimally utilized, functioning as a vital tool for monitoring and tracking deliverables across the project's lifecycle.
+ Assisting BIM Leads in time Estimation and Costing of Lighting specialist projects based on client's inputs.
+ Experience in adopting classifications within the Revit environment.
+ Experience in implementing COBie data within the BIM Models.
+ Assisting BIM Leads in ensuring alignment with project goals and budget constraints.
+ Setting up the lighting specialist models to the project standards and liaising with Model Managers from client side.
+ Being able to adapt to the latest technological aspects of BIM within the lighting discipline
+ Up Skilling/Training the team members on efficient use of Revit/CAD tools for Lighting.
+ Support the creation of work sets, work-sharing methodologies in Revit Models both internally and cloud based.
+ Support the development of Front of House and Back of house layouts, sections, details, and RCP coordinated services drawings.
+ Support detailed specialist lighting layouts based on the specifications, lighting schedules, and Detail drawings for construction and installation purposes.
+ Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing/model production with BIM Leads.
+ Support the development of general arrangement drawings from engineers and other design team member drawings.
+ Discuss and agree setting out and Lighting details with other members of the team.
+ Produce work to specified WSP/Project standards, suggest revisions to standards as appropriate.
+ Use templates for CAD/BIM work and use CAD/BIM library items to assist in design work.
+ Provide advice and coaching to junior CAD/BIM staff on CAD functions when requested.
Mandatory Skills
+ The applicant should possess a diploma/degree Electrical Engineering/Lighting Design
+ Hands on experience on AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
+ Experience of working on Mutiple projects, as the sole CAD/BIM support and as part of a wider CAD/BIM team.
+ A proficient understanding of Revit Family creation is essential, encompassing mastery of standard functions, Parametric Family creation, and the capability to mentor junior staff in its utilization.
+ Knowledge on industry standards for Mechanical, Electrical and PH services
+ Good understanding of the role of consultant engineers and how to support this.
+ Clear understanding of industry Lighting standards.
