The Senior BESS Construction Manager oversees all aspects of utility-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) construction projects, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems and infrastructure. This role works closely with project management, electrical engineering, procurement, operations, and safety teams from preconstruction through commissioning. The manager leads multiple construction teams across one or more BESS projects, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of high-performance energy storage facilities.
This position requires deep experience in electrical construction, including medium- and high-voltage systems, interconnection infrastructure, and integration with renewable energy assets. The manager will coordinate subcontractors, oversee installation of electrical and structural components, resolve field issues, and ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.
