Our comprehensive portfolio of skin substitutes and other regenerative medicine products empower our patients with life-changing solutions.  Our mission is to advance healing and recovery beyond expectations.   What You Will Achieve: As a Senior Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the employee benefits program at Organogenesis. This role requires a deep understanding of benefits administration, compliance, and leave management. The Senior Benefits Specialist will collaborate closely with HR, finance, and external vendors to ensure that benefit programs meet the needs of employees while aligning with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This position reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources. It is a hybrid position and requires two days a week in our home office in Canton, MA.    How You Will Achieve It: Benefits Administration: Manage day-to-day operations of employee benefit programs, including health plans, leaves of absence, wellness programs, and other voluntary benefits. Oversee enrollment processes, including new hire onboarding, annual open enrollment, and qualifying life events. Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit-related transactions, such as enrollments, changes, and terminations. Serve as a subject matter expert on benefit plans and policies, providing guidance and support to employees and HR team members. Leave Management: Oversee the company’s leave management program. Advise employees and managers on leave policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Communicate with employees, managers, and other stakeholders regarding leave matters. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay current on federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits, such as ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA and state specific medical and family leave laws. Ensure benefit programs comply with all legal requirements and reporting obligations. Vendor Management: Collaborate with benefit plan vendors and brokers to resolve issues and optimize services. Conduct regular vendor reviews to assess performance, cost-effectiveness and service quality. Communication and Education: Develop and deliver employee communications related to benefits, including open enrollment, plan updates, policy changes, and wellness initiatives. Coordinate and conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires and educational workshops for current employees. Develop annual wellness program including monthly newsletters, activity challenges and annual wellness week. Provide personalized guidance to employees on benefit options, coverage details, and other resources. Data Analysis and Reporting: Stay current with competitive market trends for life science industry and make recommendations on benefit changes and/or enhancements to meet organizational and employee needs. Compile and analyze data related to benefit costs for finance and budgeting. Generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of benefit programs and inform decision-making.
