Key Responsibilities:
Offering development: Working to define new offerings and refine existing offerings in the banking space and developing go-to-market strategies with sales.
Presales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
Technical Presales: Participate in technical pre-sales engagements including discovery sessions, workshops, solution design, architecture reviews, and presentations to both technical and executive stakeholders.
Project Oversight: Provide technical leadership and oversight during project implementation, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their satisfaction with our solutions.
Business Knowledge: Bring experience with or a deep appreciation for popular core banking platforms such as Temenos, Thought Machine, and Finastra, and how they fit into modern digital banking ecosystems.
Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in banking technology (e.g. AI/ML, cloud-native) and apply this knowledge to enhance our offerings.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in the banking industry.Strong functional knowledge of, and experience working with, global banking industry.Strong technical background with expertise in banking systems, software development, and integration.Experience with vendor products such as Temenos, Thought Machine, or similar.Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to simplify complex concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, scalability, security, and regulatory compliance in the banking sector.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Experience with pre-sales activities and client engagement.Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in Java, JavaScript, Python etc, with a strong grasp of modern development principles (DevOps, CI/CD, testing, versioning).Industry visibility: Speaker at events, published thought leader (nice to have)Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and build trust quickly.Experience working with Agile methodologies in enterprise environments.Certifications in cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP Architect).Recruitment fraud is a scheme in which fictitious job opportunities are offered to job seekers typically through online services, such as false websites, or through unsolicited emails claiming to be from the company.
