We are looking for a Senior Backend Compiler Engineer with experience in LLVM to develop compilers for our world leading GPUs. We craft outstanding compilers that realize the potential of NVIDIA GPU hardware for a growing range of computational workloads, ranging from next-generation graphics and deep learning to scientific computing and self-driving cars. What you'll be doing:Part of NVIDIA re-targetable GPU compiler backend team to design, optimize, and maintain robust, high-performance compilers and tools
Work with global compiler, hardware, driver and application teams to oversee improvements and problem resolutions
Solve unique problems seen only in compiling for massively parallel GPU architecture
Get a chance to influence and work on new GPU architectures
What we need to see:B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent
5+ years of experience in compiler development or toolchain engineering
Hands on experience in compiler infrastructures like LLVM/GCC
In-depth knowledge of debugging information formats such as DWARF
Deep understanding of linker and loader internals
Excellent C and C++ programming skills
Experience collaborating with global, distributed team
Self-driven with strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ways for you to stand out from the crowd:Masters or PhD preferred, with 8+ years of relevant experience
Proven background in program analysis and advanced optimizations
Good understanding of modern processor and computer architecture
Demonstrated ability to pursue complex optimization problems
Experience in developing CUDA, DirectX, OpenGL/Vulkan applications
