Job Description We are seeking a senior Azure Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in Azure as a subject matter expert (SME) managing services to support our growing cloud infrastructure (primarily focused in Azure IaaS or Hybrid Cloud infrastructure). This role requires strong scripting and automation skills, and the ability to work closely with development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Respond to and resolve Jira tickets related to infrastructure requests (e.g., access to storage, connectivity setup) • Provision and maintain Linux/Windows servers based on developer specifications • Collaborate with development teams to gather infrastructure requirements and implement solutions • Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools • Manage and optimize Azure SQL databases; occasional work with MySQL and PostgreSQL • Support hybrid cloud connectivity between Azure and AWS environments • Maintain and improve Git-based CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) • Ensure compliance with internal security and regulatory standards (HIPAA training provided) We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements • 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with Azure cloud services • 5+ years experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer • Experience with Azure managed services (e.g., Azure Databricks, Azure SQL databases, Azure VMs, etc.) • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform; Bicep/ARM a plus) • Familiarity with Git-based CI/CD workflows (GitLab, GitHub, etc.) • Experience managing databases in Azure (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) • Experience with creating Databricks workspaces • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins • Exposure to HIPAA-regulated environments • Familiarity with AWS and hybrid cloud connectivity
