This role requires a seasoned technology leader capable of consulting, architecting, and delivering superior engineering outcomes across diverse, high-profile projects in sectors such as energy, insurance, and finance. Mandatory Skills + Cloud: Expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Infrastructure as Code, cloud solution designs, and network security. + Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Skills in monitoring and alerting, incident management, automation, and software delivery. + DevOps: Proficiency in CI/CD, cloud-native software solutions, and Kubernetes. + Software Engineering: Experience in application architecture, development, SecOps, and specific technologies such as Java, Node.js, Kubernetes and AWS Lambda. Roles And Responsibilities + Consulting and Architecture: Design and architect a broad range of solutions; review and approve team members' architecture designs. + Communication and Influence: Communicate effectively and present complex ideas coherently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentor team members to improve their communication and influence. + Documentation and Delivery: Ensure the production of high-quality documentation and lead the delivery of solutions according to requirements. + Pre-sales and Account Growth: Demonstrate solid pre-sales expertise, identify opportunities to add customer value, and tailor technical advice to customer challenges. + Hands-on Engineering: Lead solution delivery, maintain engineering quality, and set technical standards.
