As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer at IBM, you will be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of technology. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). They will be responsible for developing and deploying scalable and secure applications, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and managing containerization and orchestration. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Infrastructure Management: Proficiently use AWS and RHEL to design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure. Expertise in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation is required. * Application Development and Deployment: Utilize NodeJS, ReactJS, and RESTful APIs to develop and deploy scalable applications. Ensure seamless integration with Elasticsearch and Apache NiFi. * CI/CD Pipelines: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Automate testing, building, and deployment processes to ensure efficiency and quality. * Containerization and Orchestration: Implement containerization using tools such as Docker, Podman, and Buildah. Desirable Certifications * AWS Certifications (preferably AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or higher). * Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification. * Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
