About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer to support our growing engineering team.

Location: Poland

Working hours: from 2 pm to 10 pm CET

What You’ll Do:

Execute manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and regression testing Design and maintain clear test cases, test plans, and documentation Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira Support and gradually expand automated test coverage (preferably using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar) Contribute to improving QA processes and testing strategy Participate in regular QA syncs, planning sessions, and product demos

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

5+ years of quality assurance and testing of medium (6-8 months) to large (12+ months) size IT web-based software projects 1 year of knowledge and understanding of Total Quality Management, Software Quality Analyst or Test Engineer best practices, or working towards certification in these areas. Complex analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and coordinate activities within a team Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies Ability to train other Quality Assurance Engineers Advanced ability to solve complex problems, drawing upon creativity, experience, and multiple sources of information Advanced communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in a straightforward manner.

Automation skills:

Advanced experience with automation testing tools - Selenium, Cypress, Playwright Testing management functionality in Azure DevOps Performance testing experience – using K6 Knowledge of Java programming Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, Groovy, VBScript, CSS, XML, and XPATH

Nice-to-Haves:

2+ years of Total Quality Management experience Basic knowledge of Jenkins Underwriting domain knowledge/experience
