**Description** Tyto Athene is searching for highly qualified **Senior Automation Engineer** to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida. **Responsibilities:** + Responsible for architecting, automating, and optimizing secure, resilient, and high-performance network infrastructures across cloud and hybrid environments. This role combines cloud automation expertise with cybersecurity, compliance, and performance engineering to support mission-critical operations in federal or defense environments. + Design and implement automated network architectures in hybrid, multi-cloud, or on-prem/cloud-integrated environments. + Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, or CloudFormation. + Configure hybrid connectivity using VPN, SD-WAN, ExpressRoute, or AWS Direct Connect. + Optimize performance of cloud-based networking and routing across regions/zones/availability domains. + Monitor and troubleshoot networking issues using cloud-native tools (e.g., VPC Flow Logs, NSG Logs, Azure Network Watcher, AWS CloudWatch). + Support 24/7/365 operations at Doral, FL, COOP, Exercises, and Deployments **Qualifications** **Required:** + 10+ years of experience and HS or AA/AS or BA/BS or MA/MS **Desired:** + Master’s Degree in Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Systems Architecture. **Certification:** + Must meet (IAM/IAT Level III): **About Tyto Athene** **Compensation:** + Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position.
