**Senior Automation Engineer** Permanent Employment – Hillerød, Denmark We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to support the commissioning and qualification of DeltaV projects at our Danish customer on-site in Hillerød. You will be supporting the project’s schedule and deliverables within the customer project organization working mainly on-site with option to have a hybrid working schedule. This is a long-term engagement. Upskilling on an on-going basis. Continuous training and upskilling in automation pyramid will be provided. **About the Team / Business Unit** As part of the C&Q Team the Senior Automation Engineer will collaborate on the activities to complete the DCS-DeltaV portion of the project on time. This position requires to be on site and eventually perform remote support including On-Call and Weekend support, this as part of a planned in advance rooster. You will be part of state-of-the-art development, working with the strongest, most growing industry in the Nordics. This team is building all the software and the infrastructure for the future manufacturing site for Life Sciences (LS) industry. You will have the opportunity to share experiences and learn from highly qualified peers in a multinational environment. **Key Responsibilities:** • Ensure technical alignment between the Areas in the Automation project by defining, describing and communicating design and code standards and participate in design reviews, model reviews, etc., and to input on technical elements of the design. • Support and execute FATs/SATs and CQV of the process systems to meet the overall project schedule. • Work closely together with the other Automation Engineers on the Cognizant Team and Project Team to ensure deliverables are commissioned in time for the different milestones throughout the duration of project. • Work closely together with the established site Automation Engineers to ensure the defined standards are followed consistently in the project and the library modules are used as intended. • Safeguard systems that are integrated in a compliant way on the clients’ network. • Guide vendors, troubleshooting **Required Skills:** • Emerson DeltaV or experience in DCS (Siemens/Emmerson/etc.) **Must Haves:** Engineering or IT related studies, with certification in DeltaV or any other DCS. • Experience in Manufacturing Processes. • University (or comparable) qualification in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience. • Demonstrated capability for delivering complex Automation projects technically from initial design & development through to the validation of the facility in support of defined objectives. • Systems platform experience of DCS, Emerson DeltaV is desired. • Experience working within a regulated environment (GMP, safety or similar) delivering Automation commissioning/start-up. • Process understanding of production processes used for DS and DP like upstream, downstream processes and has a deep knowledge of automation system architectures. • Good communication and documentation skills. **Nice to Have/ Your chance to grow** • Project Management • Quality Management Systems • GAMP 5 If you’re comfortable with ambiguity, excited by change, and excel through autonomy, we’d love to hear from you! \#becognizant Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
