Job Purpose

The Senior Developer in RPA is a key leader role within IFF's Automation team, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of scalable, resilient automation solutions using UiPath.
 
You will take ownership of complex solution design, coordinate junior developers, and enforce best practices across development and testing. This role requires proven delivery of 75+ UiPath automation projects, experience driving standards across the development lifecycle, and strong familiarity with GBS operating environments.
 
The ideal candidate will serve as both a hands-on expert and a team enabler, shaping the technical direction, mentoring peers, and ensuring automation delivery is robust, secure, and business-aligned.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development

Architect, develop, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions in UiPath using modular, maintainable structures.

Conduct feasibility studies and assess automation opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders.

Build solutions using REFramework and enforce naming conventions, exception handling, and queue-based design.

Developer Coordination & Technical Leadership

Lead technical delivery across multiple projects, coordinating activities of junior/mid-level developers.

Provide coaching, conduct code reviews, and ensure development quality aligns to defined standards.

Act as senior escalation point for technical problem-solving and solution design decisions.

Testing & Delivery Standards

Define and implement development and testing standards (unit/integration/acceptance).

Own the delivery playbook for the Automation team, ensuring consistency, traceability, and governance.

Promote reusability and maintain a shared component library across the team.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

Create and maintain clear documentation: Solution Design Documents, test plans, support guides.

Enforce version control practices and maintain source code repositories.

Maintenance & Support

Monitor deployed automations and support business continuity through structured hypercare and maintenance practices.

Identify improvements and drive solution upgrades when appropriate.

Success Indicators

Successful delivery of 75+ UiPath automation projects into production.Consistent application of testing and development standards.Smooth coordination across multi-developer projects.Stakeholder satisfaction and demonstrable business impact from automation.High code quality, maintainability, and system stability post go-live.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.UiPath Advanced/Professional Developer Certification (mandatory).Training or exposure to formal software testing methodologies (preferred).

Experience & Required Skills

 3–5 years of hands-on RPA experience with UiPath in complex environments. Proven delivery of 75+ production-grade automations. Experience coordinating and reviewing work from other developers. Strong command of UiPath REFramework, Orchestrator, modern folders, queues, and exception handling.Solid understanding of Intelligent Automation tools: Document Understanding, AI Center, API integrations.Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps.Prior experience working within a Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services environment.Demonstrated experience integrating automations with major ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle Fusion).Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical contexts.

Lean Six Sigma training or certification (e.g., Yellow or Green Belt).Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, or Agile Scrum Master).Exposure to UiPath Insights, Maestro, or other advanced analytics/innovation tools in the RPA ecosystem.
