Senior Automation Analyst

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 11 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

CW-IT Quality Assurance Analyst IV
Develops and evaluates equipment and processes to improve the safety, reliability, and maintainability of products and systems.

Key Responsibilities and DutiesPlanning reliability tests and conducting analyses of field failures while developing and administering reliability information systems for failure analysis and performance improvement. Identifying quality or service related issues. Reporting and communicating them to other departments and prioritizing as required for containment, correction, and prevention. Conducting or coordinating root cause analysis and reliability testing; analyzing and communicating results and recommendations. Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - this is a hybrid role, this role will be based in Charlotte, NC office

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies

Collaborate with development teams in a CI/CD environment using Git for version control

Perform database testing using SQL queries and validate data integrity

Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive measures

Lead and participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies

Required Technical Skills

Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver and test automation

Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)

Working knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD pipelines

Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries

Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years of QA experience

Experience with performance testing tools

Knowledge of API testing frameworks

Experience with AWS cloud platform
