Read on!. **Overview** **What you will do:** As a Associate Senior Software Engineer, you’ll deploy innovative solutions for a variety of projects. You’ll design and build highly dynamic, data-driven internet-based platforms and keep current on the latest developments and trends in internet-based technologies. **Responsibilities** **Day-to-day, your role includes:** + Contributing to the technical design and implementation of practical, maintainable project solutions + Being hands-on, independently coding and developing software & platform solutions + Maintaining a consistent focus on quality for projects + Performing code reviews, developing and adhering to coding standards + Staying on top of evolving web standards + Encouraging team awareness and adoption of relevant emerging technologies + Working comfortably within a dynamic, challenging environment to meet client delivery deadlines + Openly communicating project status, risks and challenges + Serving as a recognized subject matter expert within fields of expertise **Qualifications** We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes: + A four-year degree and 2 to 4 years of web development experience, preferably at a creative agency + Deep familiarity with the digital environment + Experience building and deploying PHP based web solutions + Full software development life-cycle experience on web facing applications + Solid grasp of web solutions utilizing a Content Management System (CMS) + Expertise in HTML, CSS + Advanced Javascript development skills, including knowledge of jQuery, Ajax and DOM + Familiarity with PHP frameworks, such as Laravel, CodeIgniter + Firm understanding of software engineering methodologies such as object-oriented design and design patterns, including MVC + Experience with source versioning, preferably Git + Administration skills on web server and application server products, preferably Apache, Tomcat, etc. + Knowledge and experience with SQL, relational data models and database systems, especially in support of web sites and related architectures + Experience with deploying cloud-based web solutions, e.g. Amazon, Azure, etc + Solid experience in testing methodologies, test-driven design and the creation of effective and reliable test cases + Familiarity with web security methodologies such as managing SSL certificates + Experience in designing and coding for web accessibility + Expertise in the authoring of technical requirements and the definition process + Good team skills – you’re diplomatic in negotiating and resolving conflicts **Additional information** + Generous leave entitlements, including birthday leave, rest day and family care leave. + Office closure for World Mental Health Day 10th October. + Additional Company closure for all 4 major festive Celebrations + Cashless comprehensive medical coverage, including access to a panel clinic, dental and optical care. + Life and personal accident insurance and group hospitalization and surgery. + A hybrid working schedule and with Friday disconnects. + Rest Relax & Recharge - office closure last week of December every year. + Phone Allowance
