Your Role:

 

Manufacture products according to established protocols, troubleshoot issues, suggest opportunities for improvement, and perform other manufacturing support functions across multiple manufacturing areas.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

Perform operations to meet and exceed all safety and quality expectations.Perform advanced assays, processes, and/or unit operations.Support introduction of new processes and troubleshooting of existing processes as needed.Suggest improvements to existing processes in support of site goals.Work with agility in a variety of manufacturing areas.Complete the volume of work required to achieve site goals and meet deadlines.Contribute to support functions (e.g., maintain equipment, prepare reagents, restock lab supplies, waste disposal).Communicate the status of operations and bring deviations to the attention of supervisor.Provide complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines.Ensure all applicable logbooks have been completed as required by current procedures.Interact with other departments as needed.Participate as needed in quality audits.Perform procedures accurately and independently.ln compliance with change control procedures, improve processes through application of scientific knowledge, experience, and principles.Participate in and lead process improvements under the guidance of a supervisor.Take the necessary action to resolve any unsafe conditions.Train personnel and function as a technical consultant as needed. Perform and interpret analytical evaluations of products and intermediates.Supply information based on experience and knowledge.

 

Physical Attributes:

 

Successful completion of a pre-employment physical.Normal vision capabilities.Operating standard PC.Using hand tools, balances, pumps, ovens, and various laboratory equipment.Lifting and moving materials weighing between 15-50 lbs.Moving between various workstations within the lab.Working at bench level.Handling chemicals safely with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Science field.1+ years of work experience in a laboratory or industrial setting.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge in chemistry or biochemistry, math, and general science.Familiar with laboratory instruments and production equipment.Process techniques and unit operations. Analytical techniques and equipment.Safe chemical handling methods. Communication skills, oral and written.Detail oriented.Ability to learn new skills quickly, flexibility to work in a variety of manufacturing areas, and agile work mentality.Agent of change.Computer skills.Mechanical skills.Troubleshooting skills.Interpersonal skills.Organizational skills. Knowledge of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Quality standards.

 

 

Pay Range for this position: $29-51/hour

 

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
