Senior Associate Payroll Accounting

With our support, Publicis Groupe agencies continue to create and deliver award-winning campaigns for their clients. **Overview** Executes the accounting tasks necessary to report the financial statements of agencies with high complexity in accordance with Publicis Group guidelines and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. E.g. HFM reporting, calculation and review of accounting entries, analysis of balance sheet accounts, attention to audits, customer service. In addition, he leads processes of high technical complexity and greater specialization according to the needs of the market in which he works. **Responsibilities** + Complete monthly, quarterly and year-end tasks in accordance with defined departmental and organizational operating metrics. + Coordinate with agencies and financial departments the recording of accounting transactions necessary to report in HFM financial statements. + Support the process of internal, FMC and external audits, maintaining complete and correct operating procedure controls, as well as providing the requested information. + Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations. Follow up on open items and coordinate the necessary adjustments in accounting so that there are no differences without proper justification. + Prepare and review accounting entries as required. + Escalate problems and deviations from the standard process to management. + Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement of department related processes to establish new strategies and apply best practices. + Create and keep updated the manuals of the processes in charge. + Train new group members as requested by management. + Initiate one-on-one discussions with the supervisor. + Leading specific tasks of high technical specialty and complexity required in the region to be served (Examples: coordination of audits, calculations related to taxes or local regulations, application of IFRS standards). + Participate in special projects and other initiatives required by the organization. E.g. Migrations, systems implementation, support to other regions, etc. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration. + At least 5 years of experience as an Accounting Analyst. + Advanced English (oral and written skills). + Working knowledge of SAP HR and ADP EV5/6 is a plus. + Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality. + Familiarity with payroll concepts such as pay periods, tax forms, deductions, and direct deposit. + Experience with HRIS or payroll systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP, Oracle) is a strong advantage. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). + Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
