Join Roche, where every voice matters. **The Position** As an Associate / Senior Associate Non-GMP Manufacturing, you are part of the Global Drug Product Process Engineering and Manufacturing group in Pharmaceutical Development in Basel, Switzerland. The department Pharmaceutical Development is responsible for the development of parenteral drug products from Phase 1 up to Launch. Activities of the NonGMP Manufacturing group encompass DP manufacturing for technical and GLP Tox studies to supply Roches pipeline projects. **The Opportunity** + Manufacturing and aseptic handling of non-GMP formulations / products (eg for parenteral biologics, peptides or small molecules) + Preparation of primary packaging and equipment, compounding, sterile filtration, aseptic filling (vial, PFS, cartridges) visual inspection as well as performing of in-process controls + Responsible for the diligent cleaning of equipment and performing and overseeing batch-related and routine microbiological monitoring + Collaborate with project leads to define filling requirements and translate them into a product-specific batch record in document management systems (e.g. Benchling) according to relevant guidance and internal process + Optimization of process equipment and processes and evaluation and implementation of new technologies and support the commissioning of new equipment, including SAT execution, creation of SOPs , and performing of OQ activities + Contribute to the organizational development of the Drug Product Process Engineering and Manufacturing group **Who you are** You are a motivated candidate with excellent technical, communication and organizational skills, fully committed to team effort but able to work in an independent fashion. Further you bring: + Completed vocational training as a Chemical or Biological Laboratory Technician, Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant, Chemical Technical Assistant, Biological Technical Assistant or equivalent and/or BSc in a life science discipline (e.g. biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry or equivalent) + 3+ years of relevant professional experience in the field of aseptic manufacturing + Hands-on lab experience including eg preparation and sterilization of materials, compounding, microbiological monitoring , performing in-process controls + Good organization and planning skills combined with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks + Willingness to support team members when needed and contribute to a collaborative work environment + Good oral and written communication skills in German and English _Sounds like you?
