What will you be doing?
As a Senior Associate Employment Law, you’ll be part of our energetic team with an ambitious strategy for growth. You’ll work on cases with experienced employment lawyers, people and organisation specialists and PwC experts in other disciplines, in the Netherlands and worldwide.
You and your Dutch and international colleagues will deal with employment law and HR related issues as a team. You’ll attend internal and external meetings and will often be involved from the early stages of projects. The work will be varied and involve advising and implementation. You’ll spend a significant portion of your time on international, multi-competence projects. You’ll also advise on an ad-hoc basis. The work will involve you in acquisitions, carve-outs, reorganisations, restructurings and international assignments. You’ll advise employers on (collective) dismissal law, terms and conditions of employment, the legislation on works councils, transfers of undertaking, and collective labour agreements. As a Senior Associate Employment Law within our people in deals & transformations team you will also be involved in projects in the field of HR.
Your workplace will be Amsterdam, but you may be asked to work part of a project at the client’s location, often in the Netherlands.

Does this describe you?
You’ve completed a university-level program in Dutch law at one of the Dutch law faculties;
Preferably, you have a minimum of 3 to 4 years relevant working experience in the field of employment law and a broad interest in the field of HR;
You want to develop yourself broadly and enjoy challenging yourself by taking on work that you have never done before.
You’re flexible and can quickly switch between different assignments and disciplines;
You’re a team player, proactive, flexible, energetic, focused on serving clients, outgoing, and have good commercial instincts and a talent for relationship management;
You have excellent communication skills, including a good command of English;
You’re capable of developing innovative services and enjoy the challenge of working in an international environment;
You like working in a team, have good social skills and an open and positive attitude, and you have a good sense of humor.
