**Job Summary**
TYLin- City Solutions is seeking a Director of Environmental Planning, New York, as part of a team that is a leader in environmental planning and policy implementation. We specialize in evaluating and shaping land use and infrastructure projects to optimize consideration of the environment, socioeconomics, public health, and climate risk. We are enthusiastic about our role in informed public participation and reasoned decision making to deliver capital projects, including, housing, transportation, water, and resiliency infrastructure.
**Responsibilities & Qualifications**
+ Responsibilities:
+ Project management
+ Budget management.
+ Client management.
+ Manage and develop staff.
+ Oversight for technical areas, including air quality and noise modeling, transportation, natural resources, historic and cultural resources.
+ Support public involvement activities.
+ Remaining up to date on regulatory agency standards, environmental review procedures, and analysis methodologies.
+ Thought leadership.
+ Travel, field visits, as needed.
+ Other related duties associated with the job.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 15-20+ Years of Environmental Planning Experience (e.g., NEPA, SEQRA, CEQR), including public and private projects.
+ Bachelors degree in Planning or related field
+ AICP or similar certification desirable
+ Project management skills
+ Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
+ Client Interface/Client Management Skills
+ Ability to travel within New York and assigned geographical territory as needed
+ Technical proficiency: MS Office, ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite
+ Authorized to work in the U.S.
**Additional Information**
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $117,300 - $175,900 annually for this position and local market.
