Senior Associate Market Manager, Commercial Airlines | Vietnam

Job Description

This KPI-driven role is focused on sustaining and growing revenue and profitability. It requires significant engagement with current and prospective airline partners to build strong, strategic partnerships in Vietnam.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead Market-Level Commercial Negotiations: Spearhead airline agreement negotiations within assigned markets to secure competitive terms and drive revenue.

Cultivate Airline Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with airline partners, prioritizing high-value, strategic partners. Act as the face of Traveloka in assigned markets, representing airline commercials.

Airlines Operational Management: Manage day-to-day airline operations being the second point of escalations for Customer Support to ensure flight operations run smoothly

Collaborate Across Teams: Liaise with internal teams in product, marketing, and analytics, customer support to drive supply effectiveness, price competitiveness, inventory optimization and smooth flight operations.

Stay Industry-Savvy: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of travel and airline industry dynamics, including competitor models, market trends, 

Optimize Systems and Processes: Leverage and refine existing business and operational tools to maximize productivity, ensuring alignment with Traveloka’s operational goals.

Requirements

Requirements (Education, Technical Skills, Relevant Experiences)

A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or Social Science from top local or international universities.

Minimum 3 years in the travel industry, a specific experience in e-commerce or OTA sales and supply is a plus. 

Understanding of basic GDS, airlines or travel agents ticketing and operations. 

Ability to manage and achieve performance targets

Willingness to travel, conduct partner visits and work beyond office setting as needed

Excellent communication skills with strong intuitions of airline sectors

A strong drive to make things happen 

A proactive mindset with ability to foster partnerships

Demonstrating quick learning  and results-driven.
