Job Description & Summary

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. 

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

Managing and training juniors within the team

Quickly developing an understanding of the target business and its drivers

Interpreting and analyzing of information memoranda, business plans, publicly available information on the target business

Reviewing and analyzing of historical trading, cash flow and balance sheets

Reviewing and analyzing of projections, and underlying assumptions

Reviewing of the adequacy of working capital facilities, including consideration of financing limits, term and covenants

Reporting f potential key issues for our client including identification of risk or price affecting considerations

Reviewing  sale and purchase agreements and other legal documentation and correlating findings of due diligence process therein

Reviewing of financial structures and associated credit agreements

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or any other relevant disciplines and/or a professional accounting qualification.

At least 2 years of relevant advisory services or external audit experience post- qualification

Working knowledge of IFRS, Malaysian Companies’ Act 1965 and Code of Mergers and Takeovers.

Excellent written communications, able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles and get messages across that have the desired effect.

Excellent presentation skills, effective in a variety of formal presentation settings and can present to an internal as well as external audience.

Candidates with external Audit experience or experience in the Legal field are welcome to apply
